Ulrich II (r. 1181 – 10 August 1202) also called Ulrich of Spanheim was Duke of Carinthia. He was one of the noble Germans who took part in the Crusade of 1197.Ulrich II was the son of Duke Hermann II of Carinthia who had married the Habsburg Henry Jasomirgott’s daughter Agnes. His uncle was Pellegrino II the Patriarch of Aquileia.
