‘Recerta’ is an American cultivar raised by the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) as selection ‘196-5′ from seed obtained from a Siberian Elm Ulmus pumila in Volgagrad Russia; the male parent deduced as the Field Elm Ulmus minor.
