The UAE Students blog features video news and commentary from journalism students in the Middle East. It began at the American University of Sharjah in 2006. In 2007 it was nominated for a Reuters Student Journalism award in the Student Team of the Year category. It includes articles about potentially sensitive issues like Islam and Sex Education.
