The Tutsi (/ˈtʊtsi/; Rwanda-Rundi pronunciation: [tūtsī]) or Abatutsi are an ethnic group inhabiting the African Great Lakes region. Historically they were often referred to as the Watutsi Watusi or the Wahuma.
