Tural Abbasov (born April 25 1990) is an Azerbaijani swimmer who specialized in sprint freestyle events. Abbasov represented Azerbaijan at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing where he competed in the men’s 50 m freestyle. He raced to fourth place on the fourth heat by 0.14 of a second behind Myanmar’s Kyaw Zin in 26.31 seconds. Abbasov failed to advance into the semifinals as he placed seventy-eighth out of 97 swimmers in the overall rankings.
