Truman McGill Hobbs (born February 8 1921) is a United States federal judge.Born in Selma Alabama Hobbs received an A.B. from the University of North Carolina in 1942 and was a Lieutenant in the United States Navy during World War II from 1942 to 1946. He received an LL.B. from Yale Law School in 1948 becoming a law clerk to Justice Hugo Black of the Supreme Court of the United States from 1948 to 1949.
