Triptych (1982-1989) was a Thoroughbred racehorse who competed until the age of six travelling around the world. Bred in Kentucky she was a descendant through both her sire and dam of the great runner and sire Nearco. She was consigned to the 1983 Keeneland Sales summer yearling auction where she was purchased for US$2.15 million by an agent for Alan Clore.Triptych ran 41 times; of those 12 were Pattern races including nine Group 1 events.
