Trigeminal trophic lesions (also known as Trigeminal trophic syndrome) are a cutaneous condition caused by the interruption of peripheral or central sensory pathways of the trigeminal nerve that result in a slowly enlarging uninflammed ulcer on the cheek beside the ala nasi.Sixty cases were reported from 1982 to 2002.
