TREAT-NMD stands for Translational Research in Europe – Assessment and Treatment of Neuromuscular Diseases and is a European network funded by the EU under the Sixth Framework Programme. Its focus is on bringing advances in neuromuscular disease treatment rapidly and effectively to the patients.The network has been established in 2007 and the Coordination Centre is situated at the Newcastle University.
