The Townsville Crocodiles are an Australian men’s professional basketball team based in the North Queensland city of Townsville. They compete in the National Basketball League (NBL). The team plays its home games at the Townsville Entertainment Centre (TEC) known as The Swamp within the NBL. Since being established for the 1993 NBL season the Crocodiles have enjoyed financial stability and sustained community support but on-court success has eluded them.
