Toshio Irie (入江 稔夫 born November 5 1911) was a Japanese Olympic medalist in swimming at the 1932 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. Irie was born in Takatsuki Osaka Prefecture Japan. He graduated from the Engineering Department of Waseda University. In 1928 he set a new world record for the 200 meter backstroke on October 14 1928 with a time of 2 minutes 37.8 seconds.
