The Toronto Central Prison Chapel was a Roman Catholic prison chapel located in Toronto’s Liberty Village neighbourhood. In 1877 it was built by prisoners of the now-closed Toronto Central Prison. It is one of the oldest buildings in Toronto and was added to the city’s list of heritage properties in 1985. It is therefore historically protected from demolition under the city of Toronto by law.
