Anthony ‘Tony’ Franklin (born 18 December 1950) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with South Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL) during the 1970s.Originally from the Tasmanian club Penguin Franklin played mostly as a ruckman and half forward in his two seasons at South Melbourne.
