Nikolaus Anton Toni Merkens (born 21 June 1912 in Cologne died 20 June 1944 in Wildbad) was a racing cyclist from Germany and Olympic champion. He represented his native country at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin where he received the gold medal in the men’s 1000 meter match sprint event.
