Thomas F. Tom Lewis (October 26 1924 – August 1 2003) was a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives from Florida.Lewis was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. After graduating from high school he joined the U.S. Air Force serving briefly in World War II. He was stationed in Florida during his service and after his discharge in 1954 decided to live there permanently. Lewis earned a business degree from the University of Florida.
