The Tlingit language (English: /ˈtlɪŋkət/ /-ɡət/ or /ˈklɪŋkɪt/ /-ɡɪt/; Tlingit: Lingít [ɬɪŋkɪ́tʰ]) is spoken by the Tlingit people of Southeast Alaska and Western Canada. It is a branch of the Na-Dené language family.
