The Thunderbolt Express was a looping shuttle roller coaster located at Camden Park. Originally named the Screamin’ Demon it was designed by Arrow Dynamics for Kings Island. It operated there between 1977 and 1987 when it was sold and moved to Camden Park in 1988. It operated there until 1999 when it was shut down after a circuit board malfunction and remained closed due to a lack of maintenance funds.
