Thijs Maarten van Valkengoed (born July 6 1983 in Lelystad Flevoland) is a breaststroke swimmer from the Netherlands who competed for his native country at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece and the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. He trains together with his sister Jolijn in their hometown.
