The 2013 edition of The Headies (formerly called The Hip Hop World Awards) was held at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos on December 26 2013. It was hosted by Tiwa Savage and Dr SID two artists signed to Mavin Records. Olamide was the biggest awardee of the night winning three awards from 7 nominations. Phyno won the Best Rap Single category for the song Man of the Year.
