The Church are an Australian alternative rock band formed in Sydney in 1980 they have released twenty studio albums twelve compilation albums nine extended plays and thirty-three singles. An additional studio album was released by three members of the band as Refo:mation in 1997.It is to be noted that in the section headed Compilation albums below a number of the releases are not simply compilations of previously available or otherwise available recordings.
