Temple Israel is a synagogue located in Kinston North Carolina. Established by Eastern European Jews in 1903 it is one of the oldest synagogues in North Carolina. Having started and functioning as an Orthodox congregation during its first fifty years it eventually transformed into a Reform congregation.
