Tarai-Madhesh Loktantrik Party (Nepali: तराई-मधेश लोकतान्त्रिक पार्टी) is a political party in Nepal formed by former Minister for Science and Technology and Nepali Congress leader Mahantha Thakur. The foundation of the party was announced on December 27 2007. The party has four members in the interim parliament (including Thakur).On December 31 2007 a Central Working Committee of the party was formed chaired by Thakur.
