Tanxu (traditional Chinese: 倓虛; simplified Chinese: 倓虚; Wade–Giles : T’an Hsü) (1875–1963) was a Chinese Buddhist monk and a 44th generation lineage holder of the Tiantai school. Master Di Xian was his teacher. He was famous for constructing several Buddhist temples and institutes in North China in early 20th century.
