The Tōyō Rapid 1000 series (東葉高速鉄道1000形) was an electric multiple unit (EMU) train type formerly operating on the Tōyō Rapid Railway an extension of the Tokyo Metro Tōzai Line in Tokyo Japan. A total of twelve 10-car sets were converted in 1995 from former Tokyo Metro 5000 series sets.
