Synnøve Solbakken (born 11 May 1957) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party.She served as a deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Hordaland during the term 2005–2009.On the local level she is the mayor of Kvinnherad a position she was elected to in 2007 making her the first ever female mayor in Kvinnherad. On September 12 2011 her party lost the local elections which makes it highly unlikely that her term will be renewed.
