The S sets are a class of electric multiple unit operated by Sydney Trains in New South Wales Australia. The carriages are of stainless steel double deck construction and are not air-conditioned. Withdrawal of the sets commenced in 2012 with all planned to be replaced by A sets by 2015. However with no new rolling stock ordered for the South West Rail Link some will remain in service.
