The second series of Strictly Come Dancing premiered 23 October 2004 on BBC One. It was presented by Bruce Forsyth Natasha Kaplinsky and Tess Daly. (Daly was on maternity leave during the first five weeks of the programme so Series 1 winner Natasha Kaplinsky took on the role of guest presenter.)The winner was actress Jill Halfpenny along with her dancing partner Darren Bennett.
