The Stongafjell Tunnel (Norwegian: Stongafjelltunnelen) is a 694-meter (2277 ft) long road tunnel in Askøy Norway. Part of County Road 562 it opened in December 1991 to connect the road to the Askøy Bridge. In 2004 it had 11050 vehicles per day making it part of the section of road with the most traffic in Askøy. In 2011 Hordaland County Municipality granted NOK 3.7 million to upgrade the electrical systems in the tunnel.
