Sthānika Brāhmins are a Hindu Pancha Dravida Brahmin sub-sect primarily from the coastal Karnataka (Kanara) also known as Parasurama Kshetra. Sthānika Brāhmins follow Smartha tradition and are followers of Advaita philosophy taught by Adi Shankara
