The State Procurement Agency (Georgian: სახელმწიფო შესყიდვების სააგენტო sakhelmtsip’o shesqidvebis saagento) is an independent legal entity of public law in Georgia which conducts oversight over the legitimacy of government procurement procedures and establishes the policy for regulation of procurement process.The legal basis for the Agency operations is the Constitution of Georgia International agreements and treaties Georgian Law on State Procurement and the Agency regulations developed in accordance thereof.The structure and regulations of the Agency is approved by The Government of Georgia.
