The State of the Climate is an annual report that is primarily led by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration National Climatic Data Center (NOAA/NCDC) located in Asheville North Carolina but whose leadership and authorship spans roughly 100 institutions in about 50 countries.The report appears as a supplement to the June issue of the Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society (BAMS).
