Star Air is an airline based in Indonesia. The airline was established in 2000 a period in which private companies have sprung up in Indonesia after the government announced the deregulation of airlines in Indonesia. However like some other Indonesian private airline (a total of 11 carriers) the airline licenses revoked by the government in 2008 due to inactivity (ceased operations).
