St. Peter’s Baldachin (Italian: Baldacchino di San Pietro) is a large Baroque sculpted bronze canopy technically called a ciborium or baldachin over the high altar of St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City the papal enclave surrounded by Rome Italy.
