SriLankan Airlines (Sinhala: ශ්රීලංකන් ගුවන් සේවය; Tamil: ஸ்ரீலங்கன் ஏர்லைன்ஸ்) is the flag carrier of Sri Lanka. It is based out of Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo.SriLankan was established in 1978 as Air Lanka following the collapse of the original Sri Lankan flag carrier Air Ceylon. It was rebranded in 1988.
