Spanglish is a Latin – Germanic language formed by the blend (at different degrees) of Spanish and English in the speech of people who speak parts of two languages or whose normal language is different from that of the country where they live. The term Spanglish was first brought into literature by the Puerto Rican Salvador Tió.Despite its widespread use among the Hispanic population Spanglish is not an actual language.
