The SouthEast Service is a proposed commuter rail line which would be provided and operated by Metra in Chicago Illinois and its surrounding suburbs. The route of the proposed line would use tracks owned by CSX Transportation and the Union Pacific Railroad but the service would not be operated by either of them.Its northern terminus would be LaSalle Street Station in downtown Chicago.
