South Sudanese Americans are Americans of South Sudanese ancestry or a South Sudanese who has American citizenship. South Sudanese Americans can also include children born in United States to an American (or of other origin) parent and South Sudanese parent. According the 2010 census there is a community of 42249 Sudanese and South Sudanese Americans whose ancestors (or they) have emigrated from their natives countries to the U.S. in the 1980s and 1990s fundamentally.
