The South African Class 2 4-6-2 of 1905 is a South African steam locomotive from the pre-Union era in the Natal Colony.In 1905 the Natal Government Railways placed two Class A steam locomotives with a 4-6-2 Pacific wheel arrangement in service. In 1912 when these locomotives were assimilated into the South African Railways they were renumbered and classified as Class 2.
