The Taipei Metro Songshan Line is a high-capacity subway line currently under construction in Taipei Taiwan. It is an extension of the Xindian Line. When completed it will help ease congestion on the east-west Bannan Line.The 8.5 km (5.3 mi) route will have seven underground stations (including Ximen). Upon completion it will take 15 minutes to travel from Songshan to Ximen.
