The Solomon Pond Mall is operated by Simon Property Group which owns 49.1% of it and is located off Interstate 290 near its terminus at Interstate 495 in Marlborough Massachusetts. It was one of a slew of malls to sprout along the I-495 corridor from the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s. When it was constructed in 1996 the mall’s location seemed remote and it was located far from other retail.
