Soccer Bowl ’82 was the North American Soccer League’s postseason championship final of the 1982 season. The event was contested in a single-game match between the New York Cosmos and the Seattle Sounders. The match was played on September 18 1982 at San Diego Stadium in San Diego California. The Cosmos were victorious by a score of 1–0 and were crowned the 1980 NASL champions. This was be New York’s fifth NASL title and fourth in six years.
