Sno-Isle Libraries is the main library service in Island and Snohomish County (excluding Everett) in the state of Washington.The origin of Sno-Isle Libraries dates from 1944 when the Snohomish County Rural Library District was established by a vote of the residents living in the unincorporated areas of the County. Following a successful demonstration of library service in Island County the residents there voted to establish a library district.
