A parliamentary election for the 90 deputies to the National Assembly of Slovenia was held on 4 December 2011. This was the first early election in Slovenia’s history. 65.60% of voters cast their vote. The election was surprisingly won by the center-left Positive Slovenia party led by Zoran Janković.
