T45 is a Swedish diesel-electric locomotive operated by Statens Järnvägar and later other companies. It was in service with SJ from 1971 to 1976 after which it was used by some industrial railways. It is the only diesel locomotive to be built by Allmänna Svenska Elektriska Aktiebolaget (ASEA).The loco used a SEMT Pielstick diesel engine. ASEA used the same bogies and electrical systems as on the Rc locomotive while Thune of Norway built the mechanical parts.
