Sir Edmund Russborough Turton 1st Baronet JP DL MP (1 November 1857 – 8 May 1929) also known as ‘Edward Rusborough Turton’ was a British Conservative Party politician.He was an unsuccessful candidate in the Richmond division of the North Riding of Yorkshire at the 1892 and 1895 elections. He finally entered the House of Commons twenty years later in 1915 when he was elected as the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Thirsk & Malton division.
