Simona de Silvestro (de pronounced with a long E; born 1 September 1988) is a Swiss race car driver from Thun Switzerland. She most recently competed for KV Racing Technology in the IZOD IndyCar Series. One nickname which has been applied to her is The Iron Maiden.
