The Siemens SD-460 LRV is an electric light rail vehicle (LRV) built by Siemens-USA AG. It is basically the same in design as the older Siemens SD-400 model but using AC motors and updated electronic systems instead of DC motors and older electronic equipment. The LRV is powered by four individual Siemens AC-IGBT traction motors with each one developing 200 horsepower (149 kW) and creating a combined total power output of 800 horsepower (597 kW).
