The Sichuan Blue Whales are a Chinese professional basketball team competing in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). The team is based in Wenjiang District Chengdu Sichuan. They were originally part of the Chinese National Basketball League until they were promoted to the CBA for the 2013–14 season after winning the 2013 NBL championship.
