Shoshoni or Shoshone (/ʃoʊˈʃoʊni/; Shoshoni: Sosoni’ da̲i̲gwape or newe da̲i̲gwape) is a Native American language of the Uto-Aztecan family spoken by the Shoshone people. Shoshoni-speaking Native Americans occupy areas of Wyoming Utah Nevada Idaho and Montana.
