Shim Min-Ji (also Sim Min-Ji Korean: 심 민지; born April 25 1983) is a retired South Korean swimmer who specialized in freestyle and backstroke events. She is a two-time Olympian (2000 and 2004) and a three-time relay medalist at the Asian Games (2002).Shim made her official debut as a 17-year-old at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney where she competed in the women’s 100 m backstroke.
